Are you passionate about digital storytelling and creating engaging content across multiple platforms? The Squamish Nation is looking for a Digital Engagement Specialist to join our Communications and Engagement team. Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Engagement, this role is pivotal in developing and implementing internal and external digital communications strategies that inform, inspire, and connect our community. As a key contributor, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of content across our website, social media, and community app. You’ll collaborate with departments across the Nation and external partners to ensure digital content reflects the voice, values, and vision of the Squamish Nation. This is more than a communications role, it’s an opportunity to drive meaningful engagement through digital innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the strategy and execution of digital communications through the Nation’s website, social media platforms, and app.
• Develop compelling, accessible digital content that speaks to diverse audiences including Nation Members and the broader public.
• Manage and enhance the Nation’s web presence and digital asset library.
• Design and launch engaging digital campaigns that align with strategic priorities.
• Track and analyze digital engagement metrics, using insights to guide improvements.
• Support communications initiatives including online content production, surveys, and in-person engagement activities.
• Develop creative social media strategies and prepare reports on campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency of brand.
• Support the Communications and Engagement team with planning, publishing, and content quality assurance.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural respect in all interactions.

Salary :  $62,500 - $87,500

Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. Weare committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
