Job Description
As an Exercise Instructor, your primary duties will include : providing exercise instruction and assisting with the ongoing development and evaluation of the service model of the Cardiac Rehab Program including exercise class structure, educational information, progression of patients’ exercise programs and organizing reassessment testing; ensuring consistency in approach for patients by assessing and identifying patients goals, planning, implementing and evaluating patients’ progress with other team members; practicing within the program’s standards of care; performing patient care documentation in accordance with professional standards (as applicable) and hospital policy; participating and facilitating patient / family education utilizing adult education principles and motivational interviewing; complying with and committing to patient safety responsibilities and corresponding hospital policies and procedures, including responding to emergencies; ensuring a safe environment for all patients and staff / volunteers.

Hours : Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour day shifts, 9am - 6 pm, (hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary : $28.562 to $32.876 per hour
