POSITION DESCRIPTION : Our welcoming Faubourg Giffard retirement home is located just minutes from downtown Quebec City. We are currently looking for a talented nursing assistant who cares about the health of our residents. Permanent part-time position, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m., every other weekend. 2 days a week. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents Respond to all emergency situations EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS : Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing Ease in the use of computer tools Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Member of the OIIAQ CPR up to date BENEFITS : Salary to be discussed Free parking Uniform provided Referral Program Group insurance Sick days and time off for family obligations Employee Assistance Program Vacation Ongoing training Career Opportunity Welcome and integration Program JOB STATUS : Permanent : Part Time JOB SCHEDULE : Day time
