Position :

Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer

Location :

Nationwide - Work anywhere in Canada

What You’ll Do :

Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
Run cables and connect equipment for optimal signal reception
Configure and program satellite receivers
Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything’s working smoothly
Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
Educate customers on using their new satellite systems

What You Need :

Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment

Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling

Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Great communication abilities

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus

Additional Requirements :

Ladder capable of 3 stories

Tools for facilitating a Starlink install

Ability to climb on roofs

Carry your own liability insurance

Be authorized to work in Canada (W-8BEN form may be required for tax purposes when working with U.S. companies)
