Position Overview :
Brock Canada is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our estimating team. The EIT will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with tendering scopes of work in the Industrial sector. They are required to compile estimates of how much it will cost to provide a client or potential client with products or services. They will work out how much a project is likely to cost and create budgets accordingly. They must be able to determine the material, labour, and equipment required, and analyze quotes from suppliers and in some cases, sub-contractors. This is an entry level (less than 2 year) Engineer-in-Training role and the incumbent will work under the supervision of an Engineer to work towards a Professional Engineer designation.
The position is located at the Nisku, AB head office. Business hours are 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
