Museum Attendant – Summer Student

Positions : 2 (pending grant approval)

Term of Employment : Full-Time, Summer Term (April 27, 2026 – August 21, 2026)

Rate of Pay : $18.05 per hour (Student Wage Band; subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)

Current Location : Lloydminster Museum & Archives (LMA) & Weaver Heritage Park

Duties

• Assist with reception duties
• Process admissions, provide customer service, and respond to inquiries
• Lead interpretive tours of the galleries and outdoor displays
• Assist with summer youth programming at the museum
• Assist with the organization, cataloguing, and storage of the Museum’s heritage collection
• Assist in leading education programs for school groups
• Maintain the grounds at Weaver Park, such as string trimming, gardening, weeding, and garbage removal
• Assist in supporting public events
• Participate in the City of Lloydminster’s Safety Management System
• Other related duties from time to time as required

Schedule

This position will work days, evenings and weekends.
