Program Coordinator (up to 12 months)

Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator, Local Immigration Partnership will receive direction from the Manager, Local Immigration Partnership and will :

• Take a lead role in collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate and develop portfolio-related programs, initiatives, responses, and activities
• Track, maintain and analyze data and summarize findings to meet reporting requirements and inform portfolio-related initiatives
• Work with the Policy Advisor to recommend strategies to resolve emerging issues by using expertise and knowledge to determine best solutions
• Develop community capacity, through the implementation of a wide range of disciplines, with the goal of improving the quality of life for all residents
• Plan and facilitate community engagement activities
• Act as a liaison between programs and community members / partners
• Research program related trends and challenges
• Support the review and evaluation of programs and development of results indicators
• Support data management, including maintaining up to date records on program performance
• Lead and coordinate the production of internal and external reports
• Prepare briefing material, speaking notes, correspondence, etc.
• Co-create communications products (eg social media and website content) related to the program portfolios

The successful applicant will possess :

CUPE 1764 Salary Grade 5

This position is with Salary Grade 5 and will be paid at the following hourly rates :
