Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing and reconciling client accounts ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and collections. This role involves communicating with Plan Sponsors Third Party Administrators and advisors and working closely with various internal departments to address billing issues resolve discrepancies and prepare financial reports. The analyst collaborates with the Group Benefits Terminations team and reports to the Manager of Group Benefits Accounts Receivable & Terminations.

Position Responsibilities :

• Analyze and reconcile client accounts ensuring accurate coding and timely processing of receivables.
• Engage with stakeholders such as Underwriting Distribution and Finance to address and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Complete all assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare adjustments and obtain authorization for any required write-offs.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize accounts receivable processes.
• Collaborate with other departments within Sponsor Financial Services such as Billing Commissions and Client Financial Reporting.

Salary range is expected to be between

$51375.00 CAD - $85625.00 CAD
