Graphic Designer

We are looking for aGraphic Designerto join our digitaland creativeteam and helpcreateworld-classuser focusedcreativeacross a variety of channels.

An ideal candidate issomeone who can take a creative brief and build new and fullythought-outconcepts from conceptualization to execution.As a creative you not only design beautiful assets but also have a strong understanding of brands and users.Youare able tothink of innovative ways to use graphic design to ourclientsadvantage telling their brandstoryand meeting theirobjectives.Working in a collaborative environmentyoullbeexecuting onfast-paced work across a multitude of deliverables from social media and digital assets to packaging design and brand ideation. This role will also require you to communicate well and take initiative to drive projects independently.

What theGraphicDesigner will be doing atruckus:

• Building creativeassets using a blend of your skills ingraphicdesign motion graphics photoeditingandillustration.Including assets for digital and web print and video.
• Usingyour designexpertisetorecommendcreative andstrategicideas that meet clientobjectivesand reach audiences.
• Working with thepublic relations/socialteamstoidentifyopportunities for adding value to clients by improvingcreative elementsor finding new ways to use design to reach audiences.
• Assistingwith visual design for websites and web applications for our clients. From building wireframes and design standards to creating web creative assets and uploading content to existing content management systems.
• Spearheading creative for internal marketing brand and sales initiatives. This includes creating infographics working with photography building templates and other document production.
• Workingwithand occasionally buildingbrand and identity guidelinesfor clients and APEX/ruckus Digital while also being a brand guardian and ensuring brand standards are upheld.
• Designing and contributing toclient andnew businesspresentations.
• Presenting and communicating directly with clients to build lastingrelationshipsandworking collaboratively across a team of experts to meet client needs.
• Conducting competitiveandcomparative designand userresearch and explorationto enhance our deliverables.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 3-5yearsprofessional graphic designexperiencein an agency settingthat includes designing for digital and printprocessingmotion assetsandbuildingonbrand identities.
• Astrong understanding of the core fundamentals of design learned through an educational background in graphic design is an asset but not mandatory.
• A compelling portfoliothatshowcasesyour body of work.
• Expertisein using Adobecreative suite products(Photoshop Illustrator After EffectsXD InDesign Premier)and presentation tools(WordPowerPoint Google Slides).
• Experience with video editing and building motion graphics animations and 3D modelling.
• Proficient understanding of web prototyping platforms (Figma XD Axure).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent typographyillustration andinfographicdesign skills. Especially when it comes to designing data-heavy materials.
• An understanding of photography photo editing and processing.
• Experience with using dataand a strong understanding of usersto guide creative decisions.
• A strong understanding of how to design for accessibility.

Compensation

APEX PR/ruckus Digitalis committed to offering competitive pay for the role and experience that the candidate brings. The salary range for this full-time role is$50000 - $70000 depending on experience.
