  • About the Position
  • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for converting inbound interest into qualified sales opportunities. This role sits at the front of the sales funnel and ensures that only well-qualified, well-documented opportunities progress to Account Managers.
  • Specific Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website forms, referrals, and product interest
  • Conduct first-touch discovery calls to assess fit, need, urgency, and buying context
  • Apply apply defined qualification criteria and maintain clean, accurate CRM (typically HubSpot) contact, leads and deal records.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Managers with clear context and next steps
  • Maintain high standards for data quality, notes, and pipeline stage accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and messaging
  • When necessary, work with the Business Development team and technical subject matter experts to create or revise targeted outreach campaigns
  • As required, drive weekly outbound efforts (targeted emails, messaging, and calls as applicable) to create a consistent flow of sales qualified leads each month and build the revenue pipeline

  • CRM accuracy and completeness
  • Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • 1–3 years in an SDR, inside sales, or customer-facing role
  • Work in the mining and mineral exploration sector is regarded very highly
  • Knowledge and passion for technology and cloud-based software products;
  • A competitive and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; French or Spanish is an asset
  • Comfortable with structured qualification frameworks
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM preferred
  • Physical Demands :
  • Manual dexterity to perform intricate and / or repetitive tasks such as data entry
  • Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities

  • An estimated annual salary starting at $60,000.00 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and / or training.
