Job descriptionDaily Opening and Closing duties of the snack bar and beverage carts Meal periods are Breakfast Lunch and Dinner Function Help occasionally assisting other departments in F&B Group meals up to 150 people Table set-ups Buffet set-ups arranging equipment Attending the beverage cart stations on course Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods Loading and Unloading of product to / from storage rooms Maintain accurate billing cash handling and float procedures Driving the beverage cart on course. Serving Golfers Basic maintenance of a wood burning fireplace (starting fire stocking wood logs.. etc) Maintain accurate billing cash handling and float procedures Other duties as assigned Must have Pro-Serve Certification Minimum 2 years experience as a Server in a high-volume and fast paced environment required Good knowledge of Golf Course Operations is required Previous point-of-sale system experience required Extensive wine beer and cocktail knowledge is essential Must be able to carry and serve 3 plates at one time Schedule flexibility including early mornings late nights weekends holidays Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more Valid Drivers license Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time status employees One complimentary meal per shift in our staff cafeteria (additional meals can be purchased for $4 / meal) Comprehensive benefits package (Medical Vision & Dental) including extended benefits like; Mental Health Orthodontics Fertility Drugs and Gender Affirmation for full time permanent status employees Defined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching up to 5% of annual earnings for full time permanent status employees Employee travel program with discounts on room rates as well as on food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties world-wide Access to the Mountain Explorer Travel Program exclusive room rates for colleagues which includes 50% off all food & beverage when staying at Fairmont Resorts in Lake Louise Jasper & Whistler Discounts while using our resorts Food & Beverage Outlets Fitness Centre Spa and Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Courses
We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our Golf Food & Beverage Team.
Available Opportunities Include :
- Clubhouse Server
- Oncourse Server
Note - preference will be given to those that our available for the full season (April 15 - October 15th)
Starting Rate : $16.89 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $17.89
