Job Description

As a Community School Liaison Counsellor (CSLC), you will provide direct support to students and families through counselling, referrals, case planning, and community programming. Operating under the guidance of the Supervisor, Child, Youth and Family Programs, you will act as a vital link between home, school, and community resources to enhance student well-being and in-school success.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

• Assess student and family needs, developing and implementing case plans.
• Provide individual counselling and referrals for students and families.
• Deliver small-group programming for identified needs.
• Collaborate with home and school to support student well-being.
• Provide presentations to classrooms, school staff, and parents.
• Organize and facilitate community programming and classroom initiatives.
• Refer students and families to relevant community agencies.
• Participate as a member of the Community School Team and other interagency groups.
• Maintain accurate client records, reports, and evaluations in compliance with POPA regulations.
• Support Emergency Social Services when required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.

Work Schedule :  This position works 17.5 hours per week.

Pay rate :    $52.52 to $61.79 hourly.
