Environmental Services Manager

MacLeod Cares Mahone Bay Nursing Home is looking to temporarily fill the role of Environmental Services Manager. As a member of the Homes management team, the Environmental Services Manager provides direct oversight and supervision of the Laundry, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Departments to ensure quality care, which meets resident’s needs. In addition, this role manages all aspects of the residential properties owned by MacLeod Cares in Mahone Bay that serve as temporary housing for MacLeod Cares employees.

You will manage a team of highly skilled and diverse professionals who together, provide exceptional and compassionate care for our residents by ensuring the building is safe and clean. Within the MacLeod Cares, you can expect to receive mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth. MGHSL strives to be industry leading while demonstrating exceptional care for our residents and their families.

Do you possess :

• 5 years’ experience in support services department or acceptable equivalent
• Experience working with a budget and managing inventory
• Effective communication skills allowing you to manage various cultures through a compassionate and inviting manor
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• A sincere desire to work with the elderly and are excellence driven

This position anticipated end date is April 30, 2025.
