We are hiring for a Chef de Partie at our Sunwood location in Coquitlam, BC.
The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.
You will be responsible for :
Overseeing a key area of the restaurant within the hot, cold and service areas.
Achieving operational standards for the department in areas such as cleanliness, food safety, shrink, scheduling, and health & safety.
Managing product ordering and inventory control to attain established service levels.
Leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members..
Fostering a positive environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.
Supporting the management team with team member relations.
Using knowledge of the community, competitive environment and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.
Taking count of the correct amount of stock during monthly inventory.
You have :
1-2 years of culinary experience working in a kitchen or restaurant.
Experience leading a team.
Food Safe Certificate.
Passion for great food and outstanding service.
Strong work ethic and let’s get it done attitude.
Retail, customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details :
$21.00 - $22.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
