What you will experience in this position :
Establish daily production schedules for assigned product, with sufficient lead-time to determine in which sequence products and components will be manufactured or purchased to meet planned requirements.
Create, review and release orders in a timely manner and perform transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
Respond to inquiries on customer orders. Ensure that inquiries are promptly and professionally responded to. Communicate with affected customers when schedules are revised.
Plan all parts individually to meet the business needs. Develop, implement and coordinate part planning with shop operations to include such things as : Plan for Every Part (PFEP), Container and part count sizing, Returnable containers, Replenishment methods for supporting “Pull Systems”, Minimize human involvement in the replenishment processes, Integration of suppliers with production.
Review item forecast versus actual demand patterns. Make appropriate adjustments to maintain inventory levels. Identity excess and obsolete inventory, determine root cause and disposition, and take corrective action.
Inventory management including cycle count accuracy.
You have :
College Diploma in Supply Change Management – Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing facility preferred.
Experience in Microsoft and SAP an asset.
