In the role of Asset Performance Optimization - Summer Student you will support pipeline system performance analysis of throughput and power consumption to provide recommendations for increasing efficiency and minimizing power costs on the Enbridge pipeline network. You will also support maximizing the efficiency of tools used in Asset Performance Optimizations analysis. Its an excellent job for people who are passionate about data analytics and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative setting.

Placement Details :

This is a 4 month placement starting in May 2026 located in Calgary AB.

What you will do :

• Work with Control Center (CCO) Engineering Infrastructure Planning Scheduling Energy Management and other stakeholders to identify and investigate new power-saving opportunities.
• Learn data analytics to investigate root causes for inefficiency / power expense using technical and commercial knowledge of Enbridge power systems and contracts.
• Continually improve and update financial summary reports for distribution used for customer invoicing including total power costs and surcharges based on numerous contractual agreements.
• Support integration of IT software into daily power price modeling and help verify the accuracy of the tools with technical and business knowledge of the system.
• Develop in-house macros / tools / coded solutions to reduce redundancy or manual spreadsheet entry in various processes in APP.
• Utilize in-house hydraulic modeling and pipeline power optimization software to develop and update annual power consumption budgets.
