Foreman / Superintendent – Earthworks and Utilities

On behalf of our client, MatchBox Consulting Group , we are seeking an experienced Foreman / Superintendent specializing in earthworks and utilities projects to oversee civil projects in Squamish .

What You’ll Do

• Supervise installation of underground utilities including sanitary, storm, and water systems, as well as manholes and service connections.
• Oversee excavation, backfilling, compaction, and grading activities to ensure compliance with design elevations and specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor hardscape construction such as curbs, sidewalks, and surface finishes.
• Manage on-site crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to maintain workflow and project timelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections, maintain progress tracking, and generate detailed documentation including photos and extra work reports.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding scope, schedule, and any field challenges.
• Liaise with inspectors, engineers, and utility representatives to ensure compliance and coordination.
