Python Developer-AWS

Position Description :

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the design development and deployment of applications and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming expertise experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and a solid understanding of SQL data modeling and data analysis.

This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days a week in any CGI Atlantic location : Halifax NS Moncton or Fredericton NB Stratford PE or St. Johns NL.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Design develop and maintain scalable Python applications and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems improve workflows and automate manual processes.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also valued).
• Develop and optimize database queries data models and analytics workflows.
• Ensure code quality performance and reliability through testing and best development practices.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve application or data-related issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools technologies and best practices in Python and cloud development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $550000$105000. This role is an existing vacancy.
