Janitor

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Janitor on a temporary basis (up to one year) on our Supply Chain team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Edmonton AB.

Hours of Work: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m.

What youll do:

• Perform all housekeeping activities in the warehouse including scrubbing and sweeping floors collecting garbage and managing recyclables.

• Assist with snow removal yard work and lunchroom housekeeping as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the washrooms.

• Work in the freezer in sub-zero temperatures when required (PPE and premium pay provided).

• Operate and move heavy machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

• Regularly clean warehouse racking to maintain a safe and organized environment.

• Ensure adherence to all security programs and protocols.

• Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations.

Who youll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with the Maintenance team. This team strives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement teamwork and safe work.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Operations.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

• Have a high school education (or equivalent).

• Have 6 months of related experience.

• Can work in the freezer when required.
