Mid-Level Software Engineer – Python

Location : Brampton, Ontario

Duration : 4–12 months

Level : Undergraduate / Master’s (Co-op) Term : Fall 2025 Intake (Sept–Dec or extendable to Jan)

About the Role :

Join Seed NanoTech’s development team to build smart software systems powering our real-time biosensors. You’ll work on backend applications, data pipelines, and integrations with sensor hardware.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop Python-based applications and tools

Build and maintain RESTful APIs (Flask / Django)

Handle real-time data processing from biosensors

Collaborate with data and hardware engineers

Maintain Git repositories and documentation

Core Skills :

Python programming (OOP, NumPy, Pandas)

REST API frameworks (Flask, Django)

Git version control and basic SQL / NoSQL

Experience with Jupyter, basic data visualization

Understanding of software testing and debugging

Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving mindset

Clear communication in cross-functional teams

Time and task management

Willingness to learn new libraries / tech
