Job descriptionPlan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Address customer complaints or concerns Professionalism in customer service Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle Relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Secure cargo with tarping and ensure safety and security Transport and handle dangerous goods AZ class license Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Trip reports Dry bulk Tractor-trailer Local National Regional Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Steel-toed safety boots Gloves Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Hardworking Free parking available Parking available Permanent resident of Canada Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit

- Salary : $25.00 hourly / 40 to 60 hours per week
- Terms of employment : Permanent employment Full time
- Schedule : Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Overtime available
- Qualification : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
