Key Responsibilities

• Welding: Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and ARC, to fabricate and assemble steel components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards, making any necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating welding equipment and handling materials, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team, including fabricators, fitters, and supervisors, to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any relevant documentation required for quality control and traceability purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys used in steel fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding specifications.
• Welding certification(s) or relevant training is a plus.
