Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining source codes, unit and system testing their code, and building high‑quality application solutions to design specifications, standards, and user requirements by developing and testing components in an iterative manner through an Agile process.

The candidate will collaborate with the Designer, Technical Lead, Business Stakeholders and Systems Integration partners throughout the development and delivery lifecycle to ensure that the code meets technical design frameworks, requirements and best practices.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• Capturing / analysing / negotiating / clarifying requirements (customer, system, performance)
• Participating in the creation and execution of development and implementation plans
• Designing technology solutions to meet requirements (Websphere MQ, Websphere Message Broker, Web Services, Websphere Application Server, UDB, AIX, z / OS, Windows 2003)
• Coding executable components that comply with the overall solution design (Websphere Message Broker, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP, COBOL, Java, Oracle Applications, Visual Basic, etc.)
• Testing the executable components and assisting with the coordination of the overall testing effort
• Producing and maintaining relevant solution documentation
