The Strategy and Innovation team within Customer Solutions Delivery is a dynamic and high‑performing team that is a key enabler of CSD’s go‑to‑market strategy and strategic program execution. We bring cross‑functional teams together to implement and support programs across our Field organization and make strategic decisions on how to execute across our National CSD team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize and support strategic priorities, including leading senior leadership forums, developing strategic roadmaps, and ensuring delivery of strategic priorities through effective collaboration and interlock. You will also lead a team of highly motivated program managers who drive transformational initiatives across the organization. If you thrive in ambiguity and have a passion for transformation, you will provide leadership with the expertise, critical thinking, and insights needed to support your recommendations.

As the leader of our Strategic Programs team, you will play a vital role in driving transformational initiatives that propel our business forward. Working across the entire CSD ecosystem, you will identify opportunities for improvement and optimise our processes and systems. Your knack for driving business results and change will be critical in this capacity. With your transformative mindset, you will continually seek opportunities to enhance our business and deliver better outcomes for both our customers and team members.

Here's How

  • Plan, facilitate and govern Senior Leadership forums, developing and maintaining governance frameworks and standards to drive effective prioritisation and strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and milestones, aligning key initiatives with organisational strategic objectives and ensuring clear pathways to execution.
  • Lead collaboration and interlock activities to ensure delivery of strategic priorities, connecting upstream stakeholders with Enablement and Operations leaders to improve customer and business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a team of highly motivated program managers, providing guidance and strategic oversight for major programmes and initiatives, supporting projects end‑to‑end from ideation to execution.
  • Create and support executive‑level business reviews that are presented to the leadership team.
  • Drive impactful business outcomes and spearhead change within a new, evolving team.
  • Champion TELUS values and culture with new team members.
  • Support VP scorecard to track objectives and organisational health, providing senior leadership with actionable insights that drive accountability and informed decision‑making.
  • Foster a positive work environment and drive strong engagement outcomes, upholding CSD's culture while encouraging innovation, collaboration and sharing of best practices.
  • Amplify CSD's story and journey through effective communication strategies, ensuring the team is informed, inspired and connected to the team’s vision and successes.

Qualifications

  • 7‑10 years of experience in telecommunications or related industry.
  • An undergraduate degree in business or related discipline.
  • Experience managing others and serving as a consultant to drive improvements in programmes, processes and cross‑functional relationships.
  • Strong project‑management, time‑management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence others and foster ownership within cross‑functional teams.
  • Confidence tackling ambiguous problems, bringing structure and process to shape solutions.
  • Experience leveraging data, insights and analytics to define problems and priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations.
  • Self‑starter, proactive, takes initiative and ownership of issues / tasks to resolution.
  • Highly collaborative and a strong communicator.
  • Curiosity, learning and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Great-to-haves

  • Previous Program Manager experience.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., project‑management software, data analysis tools).
