MatchBox Consulting Group is searching for a Senior Project Manager in Edmonton, AB. Our client is a global consultancy specializing in project management, real estate, and infrastructure, delivering exceptional outcomes across diverse industries.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex real estate projects from design through construction, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and client-focused environment, managing large-scale projects while fostering strong relationships and contributing to innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design and construction phases of complex real estate projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Oversee submittal and RFI processes, ensuring compliance with project documentation, change orders, and client specifications.
Drive effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, design-build contractors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure project success.
Manage project closeout processes, including documentation, punch-list management, and transitioning to operations.
Provide leadership and coaching to project teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.
Requirements
10 years of experience as a Project Manager, overseeing increasingly complex construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a PMP and P.Eng designation.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or P6, and strong working knowledge of MS Office suite.
