Our client in Niagara Region, ON is actively looking for a HVAC Technician to join their team.

Position Description: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the HVAC & Gas Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and supporting HVAC and gas-fired systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including filter and belt changes, system inspections, drain and piping flushing, and cleaning of condenser and evaporator coils
• Inspect equipment components, verify insulation, lubricate moving parts, and test refrigerant pressures and thermostatic controls
• Conduct operational testing and complete detailed service documentation, including equipment details, condition assessments, and work performed
• Assist with technical input for equipment upgrades, replacements, and specialized maintenance activities
• Coordinate with contractors, monitor work in progress, and verify completed work meets specifications
• Carry out additional maintenance-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Certificate of Qualification
• Valid G Gas Technician License
• Minimum years of HVAC and gas technician experience; industrial or manufacturing environments are considered an asset
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Well-organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
