About the Role

• Reporting to the Project Manager, the Intermediate Municipal Engineer, will be responsible for supporting the overall success of Major Projects in Canada.
• Act in a supporting role on delivery of municipal engineering elements of Major Projects, including but not limited to Light Rail Transit (LRT), integrated road rehabilitation, watermain, storm and sanitary designs, active transportation, utility relocation and coordination, etc.,from inception to completion.
• Monitoring industry standards and developments, assessing client needs and making concrete decisions on proposed solutions. Monitoring project financial performance and invoicing clients promptly.
• Participated in the preparation of Engineering Scoping Documents for a variety of municipal deliverables.
• Preparing technical designs, specifications, reports and technical documentation for a variety of municipal project elements in the context of Major Project delivery.
• Monitoring project schedule to ensure we deliver by agreed-upon due dates.
• Advancing projects through the concept and detailed design phases, managing existing clients and developing new clients.
• Design and design assistance and support to other Project Managers on project delivery.
• Liaising with clients, government and / or regulatory bodies as well as contractors.
