What You’ll Do

The Systems Architect Director role is to strategically design and implement in‑house information systems and networked software architectures that support core organizational functions and assure their high availability. This individual will gain organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete those plans. In addition, the Systems Architect Director provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making to the project planning level.

Location : Open to a candidate working out of our Toronto, Halton Hills or Vancouver, B.C. This role is required to work in‑branch 4 days per week subject to the Company’s branch policy and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Design and implement long‑term strategic goals and short‑term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
• Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, and software development teams.
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.

Pay Range : Base pay range for this full‑time position is $145,000–$165,000. This position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
