The Engineering Department creates our solution designs and project estimates in lighting, EV charging, electrical, photovoltaic, and other solutions we may offer in the future.

You will be responsible for leading the ongoing development of the team along with the processes and systems required to make this department run quickly, smoothly, and with confidence.

You will be part of our Leadership Team and expected to meet the organizational goals above all else. This role includes the following accountabilities :

Solution & Proposal Design :

Oversee the development of designs and estimates for lighting, EV, photovoltaic, electrical, and any other solutions that are offered.

Standardize Project Information & Strengthen Internal Systems :

Ensure consistency in data management, control inputs, and access to project information.

Subsidy Management :

Build and manage the process to identify, operationalize, communicate, manage, and close subsidies that support our clients in priority energy management initiatives.

Oversee Technology Deployment :

Ensure the effective implementation, use, and ongoing optimization of technology and tools to support the functioning of the department and customer outcomes.

Support Automation & AI Adoption Across Workstreams :

Support initiatives that leverage automation and AI to increase organizational efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.

Critical Requirements

A successful candidate will possess the following critical requirements :

Ontario P.Eng in Electrical Engineering

Experience building and leading a high performing engineering department

Ability to assess and identify on-site electrical solutions to address complex client needs

Experience pricing energy-related projects in competitive markets

In-depth understanding of the Electrical code

Experience

Eng. in Electrical Engineering

In field installations – lighting, solar, electrical, EV, or other relevant fields

5+ years in a leadership role

Implementation of lighting, EV infrastructure, photovoltaic projects or electrical work

Proven success leading technology-driven transformation projects
