Job description

Job title: Senior Backend Developer
Location: Kitchener, ON, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Months

Role Descriptions: -

Design and develop microservices architecture for cloud-based applications.
Implement RESTful APIs and ensure secure| scalable integrations.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS or GCP using cloud-native services.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to implement CICD pipelines.
Optimize application performance| scalability| and reliability.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and cloud standards. -
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

Essential Skills:

Experience years in backend development| with at least years in microservices architecture. -
Strong proficiency in Java| Spring Boot| or (or similar frameworks).
Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP services (| Lambda| ECSEKS| API Gateway| PubSub).
Expertise in RESTful API design and integration patterns.
Familiarity with Docker| Kubernetes| and container orchestration.
Knowledge of CICD tools (Jenkins| GitHub Actions| or similar).
Understanding of cloud security| scalability| and performance optimization.
Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka| PubSub). Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native frameworks.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch).
Strong grasp of SQL (| PostgreSQL| MySQL) and NoSQL (| MongoDB| DynamoDB) databases| with experience in schema design| indexing| and query optimization.
