Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will also support broader HR administrative functions.

This position is based in Kingsville, Ontario.

Job Duties :

  • Process company payroll accurately and on time bi-weekly.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal payroll regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy (e.g., salaries, bonuses, deductions, benefits).
  • Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in the payroll system.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Generate reports and analytics related to payroll, headcount, and compensation.
  • Support year-end processes including T4, or other documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with benefits-related laws and regulations.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of payroll and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Dayforce, Workday, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Your Environment :

  • Most of the day is spent in the office, but occasionally you would be required to go into other parts of the facility where the temperature may vary from hot to cold.
  • Fast-paced work environment.
  • Full-time hours, Monday-Friday - with occasional overtime as required.
