ABOUT THE JOB :

The aim of Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada is to deliver day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate their transformation. GBTO differentiates itself from competitors through the pace of its agile transformation, fostering a technology and data culture, shortening decision-making processes, and adopting an industrial approach with various teams, either transversal or aligned to different sub-business units.

The team, called MRF (Market Data Referential), consists of 5 members aiming to manage the collection of market data from external providers, format it, and expose it to Société Générale's information systems. In the Americas region, the team primarily supports partners in New York, Chicago, and Montreal but may also handle worldwide requirements.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

Your responsibilities will include :

• Delivering high-quality, clean code and test scenarios, applying software craftsmanship principles, and meeting acceptance criteria.
• Implementing changes across all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile and IT craftsmanship principles.
• Participating actively in team meetings.
• Collaborating with other Referential teams in France, Morocco, Hong Kong, and India to define and implement a common data access framework via API or back-end.
• Contributing to digitalization and optimization of the market data platform through automation and innovative ideas.
• Supporting production efforts as needed.
