NCSD accepts previous accredited public school teaching and administrator experience towards movement on the certified teacher salary schedule, which includes all verified and approved years in Wyoming and up to 5 verified and approved years out of state.

$12,000 signing bonus available for successful employee hires new to NCSD

• $6,000 dollars given for the first year upon obtaining licensure / certification
• $2,000 paid at the end of each school year if there are successful evaluations and contract renewal.
• Signing bonus may be prorated based upon start date for the initial payment and the first payment at the end of the year
• Applicants who previously received the signing bonus are not eligible for the bonus again.
• Previous employees who are hired in signing bonus eligible position must be separated from the District for at least 365 days in order to be eligible

Purpose Statement

The job of CLASSROOM TEACHER is done for the purpose / s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and / or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
