Salary: $23/hour - $198/day

Position Overview:
We are looking for reliable and qualified Substitute Teachers to provide instruction and supervision for our students in the absence of regular classroom teachers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of classroom management, and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that support our schools educational philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons and activities as outlined by the classroom teacher.
• Supervise and manage students to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Adapt lessons and classroom activities as needed to meet student needs.
• Maintain accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration regarding student progress or any concerns.

Qualifications:

• A post-secondary degree is required; a Bachelor of Education (BEd) is considered an asset.
• Previous experience working with children in educational or care settings.
• A current Vulnerable Sector Check (required prior to starting).
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with various age groups and subjects.
