Location : Powell River / qathet Regional District

Schedule : Monday to Friday 0800 - 1600

Salary Or Wage : $18.25 per hour

Start Date : As soon as possible

List of Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or a related agricultural setting is not required
  • A willingness to learn and an open mind to feedback
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and perform strenuous, repetitive tasks as needed
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements

List of Duties

  • Assist with daily cannabis cultivation tasks, including planting, crop work activities, and harvesting, under the guidance of the cultivation team leads.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary growing environment by performing regular cleaning and sanitation activities in grow rooms and other areas.
  • Keeping a strict separation of clothes and shoes worn on-site from clothing worn outdoors. Laundry is performed on-site for site specific clothing.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with team members, ensuring tasks are completed and seeking direction when needed.
  • Strictly adhere to and enforce all regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act and Regulations, as well as the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
