Job descriptionOffer private and group golf lessons at all levels. Organize junior clinics and programs. Act as a mentor for young golfers and assistant staff. Oversee reservation systems, training programs (juniors, first swings, golf lessons, etc.) and the organization of golf tournaments. Collaborate with committees (golf, turf and curling). Ensure compliance with golf rules and ethics of play on the course. Prepare operating budgets in close collaboration with senior management. Monitor sector budget and ensure compliance with established parameters. Produce performance reports and recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with club policies and Golf Québec / Canada and Curling Québec / Canada standards. Coordinate between your sector and other sectors in collaboration with other departments (catering, grounds, finance, etc.). Good general management and customer service skills with principles of solid financial management. Ability to manage time and stress. Planning sense and organization of human, financial, and material resources. Teamwork and effective communication of vision, objectives, projects, and results. Familiarity with problem‑solving techniques. Good analytical skills. General understanding of club operations. Highly available. Member in good standing of the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada (PGA of Canada) or in the process of becoming one. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of club management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Chronogolf, Lightspeed). Bilingualism (French essential, English an asset). Benefits to be negotiated. PGA of Canada / PGA of Québec membership fees paid by the Club. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
Customer service and operations
- Oversee the operation of the golf shop and backroom (product purchases / sales, inventory management, equipment rental, practice range, bag storage, locker management, etc.).
- Plan staffing needs and recruit the necessary personnel in collaboration with senior management.
- Manage employee schedules to optimize the use of facilities and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate the skill level and performance of staff, provide feedback, training, and encouragement.
- Maintain team harmony, manage conflicts, and ensure safety of employees and users.
- Greet members and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Meet regularly with customers, inquire about satisfaction, propose procedures, implement and follow up.
- Represent the brand image of Club Sports Belvédère.
