About The Opportunity

McDougall Energy is looking to fill a 6‑month Contract Office Administration position in our Burford operation. This position is responsible for :

  • Providing excellent customer service, building quality relationships with customers.
  • Answering incoming calls and attending to customer inquiries.
  • Greeting customers and discussing the services required or providing information regarding the benefits of our services.
  • Ensuring all customer enquiries are addressed and handled professionally and diplomatically, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
  • Collaborating with other departments / branches to ensure full customer satisfaction with the company's products and services.
  • Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, including propane, fuel and lubricant operations.
  • Accepting and processing customer payments.
  • Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals.
  • Performing other administrative assigned tasks and duties necessary to support operations.

About You

  • Excellent customer service skills, including superior telephone manners.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organization, time management and problem‑solving skills with the ability to multi‑task with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Self‑motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
  • Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
