Salary range (but not limited to) :

101,800 - 124,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance) :

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including : experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Reporting Owner – Senior Software Developer to build, guide, and champion the vision for data communication and reporting within Intact Lab. This role invites an experienced professional to implement, alongside colleagues, best practices for data accessibility through dashboards that serve diverse stakeholders across the organization. Your leadership will be essential in making Intact Lab a reference in data-driven decision-making.

Location : Montreal / Toronto

What you’ll do here :

Vision : Define and evolve the structure, vision, and visual identity of dashboards that meet Intact Lab’s needs.

Data architecture and engineering : Design and advance the data architecture supporting Power BI (data pipeline construction and secure connections, quality management, data security and governance).

Automation : Work closely with data analysts to automate and standardize reports wherever possible and minimize manual work.

Support : Support data analysts in creating or identifying the data needed to advance dashboards.

Communication : Serve as the spokesperson for Intact Lab’s digital dashboards to share progress, launches, and improvements, and support new employees as they onboard.

Skill development : Help data analysts improve their proficiency with our tools. Documents standard and best practices.

What you bring to the table :

Deep knowledge of Power BI and Snowflake, with strong curiosity about dashboard best practices.

5–7 years of experience building dashboards across varying levels of complexity and technologies.

Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Databricks is an asset.

Experience with code cloning / version control (Git or equivalent) is an asset.

Previous experience in large organizations.

Proven ability to lead through influence and drive change.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
