The Team :

C&RS (Credit & Risk Solutions) is part of the Market Intelligence group within S&P Global. Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) delivers information-centric capital markets and risk solutions for trading desks and their risk business partners supporting risk regulatory compliance. The UI products cover counterparty credit risk xVA and market risk for both Buy and Sell side firms.

This role is for a software developer within the FRA software engineering team building applications services and working with databases / cloud.

Responsibilities and Impact :

Design and implement applications and services.

Participate in system architecture and design decisions.

Continuously improve development and testing best practices.

Interpret and analyze business use-cases and translate feature requests into technical designs and development tasks.

Take ownership of development tasks participate in regular design and code review meetings.

Delivery focused and keen to participate in the successful implementation and evolution of technology products in close coordination with product managers and colleagues.

What Were Looking For :

Basic Qualifications : 0-1 years of experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Applied Mathematics Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Python Java / Scala

Experience with relational or time series databases

Experience using Restful API.

Linux / Unix Git

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines

Experience with Test frameworks (e.g. jest jasmine playwright)

Agile and XP (Scrum Kanban TDD)

AWS - CLI Cloudfront S3
