Production Technicians play a key role within Redlen in creating high-quality, high-performance radiation detectors for timely delivery to our medical and security imaging customers around the world. As a production technician at Redlen your role might include crystal growth, cutting and polishing wafers, highly detailed production in a clean room, testing and measuring components against specifications or assembling a completed module. Duties & Responsibilities :

• Follow all workplace EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) protocols
• Interpret and complete work orders in an accurate and efficient manner to meet production goals
• Inspect and test products in compliance with QMS (Quality Management System) objectives and SOPs
• Consistently update and maintain accurate Production Process records
• Perform routine set up, calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Identify and communicate improvement
• Monitor use and inventory of process materials / chemicals and supplies to ensure adequate inventory is on hand.
• Maintain plant and work area cleanliness following 5S methodology

Qualifications & Experience :

Previous experience assembling electronics, semiconductors or similar equipment is preferred.

Departments :

CZT Operations (crystal growth, furnace operations, wafer & chip cutting)>

Shifts and Work Requirements :

This is a full-time on-site role, and all applicants must be legally eligible to work for Redlen Technologies in Canada.

Starting Hourly Shift Rates : (we offer regular increases based on experience and performance)

It is common for ranges to span multiple levels in order to attract top talent across experience levels. It is uncommon to be hired at the top of the range; however, in exceptional cases where a candidate's skills and expertise significantly exceed the role's requirements, we may consider offering a higher salary.
