Financial Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Woodbridge, Ontario. In this role, you will provide critical financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively across departments while contributing to the organization’s financial success.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights that support management decisions.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to aid in strategic planning.
• Collaborate with various teams to create financial models and evaluate business cases.
• Prepare detailed reports on company performance, profitability, and cost optimization.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial reporting processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Support audit processes and implement controls to uphold data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational and financial efficiency through thorough analysis.
• Utilize financial tools and software to streamline reporting and analytical processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, PowerBI, QuickBooks, Python, or Workday is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial controls and audit processes to ensure data integrity.
