Co-located with Multimatic’s prototype manufacturing and Motorsports team enables industry leading rapid development cycles through strong collaboration. The Role Multimatic’s Mechanisms Engineering team is looking for talented Design Engineers to help create innovative solutions for the world’s leading OEMs. Our team develops everything from Side Door Hinges to advanced motion systems, including Active Aerodynamic Devices and PowerDoor actuators. In this role, you’ll take automotive components from concept through to high-volume production, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets. With multiple openings, we welcome candidates at all career stages — whether you bring seasoned technical expertise or are eager to build your skills on complex, high-profile programs. Key Responsibilities Generating innovative design concepts to satisfy OEM customer requirements Communicate directly with customers to understand technical requirements, provide design solutions and program updates. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in automotive component design, ideally with 3+ years, but no upper limit — we value both seasoned professionals and those looking to take the next step in their career.Strong knowledge of kinematics, materials, and design for high-volume manufacture and assemblyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
