Job Title : Warehouse and Assembly Support Specialist Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse and Assembly Support Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the production floor by sorting and preparing parts for assembly. This position requires a proactive individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort parts for assemblers on the production floor according to a pick list.
• Navigate the warehouse to gather items on the pick list and prepare them for assemblers.
• Work closely with Receiving / Assembly managers or leads to handle various daily tasks.
• Print tags and labels, and enter information onto Quality check sheets.
• Assist in the assembly of parts and facilitate the movement of parts throughout the facility.
• Maintain and clean work areas, and set up workstations as needed.
• Collaborate with electrical assemblers, electricians, and machine builders as required.

Work Environment

Enjoy working in a straight day shift from 7am to 3 : 30pm across our three locations in Cambridge. The team comprises various skill sets, including team leads, production workers, and maintenance staff, all working together in a busy yet easy-going atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
