We invite applications for the temporary position of :

• 0.80 FTE Grades K-9 Learning Support Teacher
• The anticipated location for this position is Lake Trail Community School.
• Please note this temporary position will end on June 30 2026 or upon return of the incumbent.

Learning Support teachers work with students with low incidence challenges behavioural / mental health issues and learning disabilities. They play an active role in the identification and assessment of students. They provide support to classroom teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in the regular classroom assist classroom teachers with the development of I.E.P.s and collaborate with classroom teachers to design or implement instructional strategies or to adapt / modify instructional content or materials. They also provide direct remedial instruction.
