About the Role

On our team, you will collaborate and work on property tax engagements with clients in many industries. You will play an important role in the growth and leadership of the property tax team. You will work with team members across the country and in the US as we build and grow the property tax team in Canada. In your role, you will provide exceptional client value as a trusted business advisor, working with other services lines in Canada including tax, audit, financial advisory and consulting, assisting clients with Canadian property tax matters.

Team Overview

Currently we are seeking a Manager or a Senior Manager for our Property Tax team. The position is open to candidates across Canada. You will play a key role in the growth of this service line within Deloitte. You will continue your professional development to reinforce and expand your chosen career path, and work with high‑profile clients on a variety of regional and national engagements.

Qualifications

• College or University degree or 7+ years of property tax consulting experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in the area of property tax consulting.
• Preference given to Accredited or Candidate member of Appraisal Institute of Canada, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
• Proven ability to deliver all services related to the lifecycle of property assessment consulting and appeal services.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to build new business and operational efficiency. Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
• Self‑motivated and deadline driven.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required due to interactions with national & global clients.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $84,000 – $140,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
