Job Details

Position : Assistant Manager – Food Services

Employer : Jugo Juice

Location : Cochrane, AB T4C 2B8 (On site)

Salary : $27.69 to $36.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment type : Permanent, Full time

Schedule : Day, Weekend (shift or on-call work available)

Start date : Starts as soon as possible

Advertised until : 2026-02-04

Responsibilities

Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
Evaluate daily operations
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Recruit staff
Set staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Train staff
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Manage events

Qualifications

Education : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate

Computer and technology knowledge : MS Office, Point of sale system

Security and safety : Criminal record check

Personal suitability : Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability

Work conditions and physical capabilities : Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail
