I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a fast-growing company in the waste recovery and recycling sector, located on Montreal's North Shore, for a Production Director - Permanent position, 40 hours / week - Salary between $90,000 and $110,000 depending on experience.
Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will oversee and continuously improve production and logistics processes. You'll rely on real-time data, advanced operational tools, and a motivated team to structure and optimize performance. This is a strategic leadership role in an innovative, sustainable, and fast-moving environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze real-time production data to forecast volumes, plan resources, and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Structure and supervise production and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure their clear communication to the teams
- Lead, support, and empower operational teams in their day-to-day activities
- Promote a participative management style to enhance autonomy and ownership among employees
- Drive strategic improvement projects and support the integration of new technologies
- Work closely with technical, maintenance, and quality departments to maintain high operational standards
- Contribute to the company's long-term vision focused on circular economy and sustainable development
