The successful candidate will join

a diverse and skilled team which provides a full range of legal advice to clients in the energy (oil & gas, power and energy transition) and infrastructure industries.

The ideal candidate is motivated by excellent and interesting work, a broad range of clients and highly engaged colleagues and appreciates superior technology and robust support.

The candidate will have :

  • A minimum of two years of post-call corporate and commercial law experience, with a preference for candidates with oil and gas, electricity or renewables expertise, energy transition experience and interest (CCUS, hydrogen, geothermal, renewable natural gas) and an understanding of the energy regulatory framework in Alberta;
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials;
  • Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills; and
  • A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

The successful applicant will work closely with leading lawyers and be part of a top-tier team providing sophisticated legal advice to a diverse range of Albertan, Canadian and international clients.
