Rogers is seeking a candidate with the right aptitude, competencies, and skills to join its growing RBCEL. RBCEL – Rogers Business Common Experience Layer application – middleware application for assisted and self serve Digital channels serving Rogers business customers (MBH, BSSs, RD, EDSM, RB360, SF… )
The RBCEL Technical Product Owner will manage RBCEL work intake and work with Enterprise architects and RBCEL applications architects and technical leads on the best solution approach. Reporting to the Senior Manager of RBCEL, this is a Management-level role accountable for the successful delivery and KPIs for RB middleware.
RBCEL Technical Product Owner combines the strategic vision of a Product Owner with a strong technical understanding to ensure products meet business objectives and technical requirements. Responsible for defining, prioritizing, and implementing features, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
What you’ll do :
- Defining the product roadmap, setting goals, and measuring success, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans, providing technical insights and recommendations to development teams.
- Communicating with stakeholders, including business, IT, and development teams, to ensure alignment and clarity on RBCEL APIs requirements and implementation.
- Maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product roadmap and technical feasibility and Enterprise Architecture guidelines / target state vision.
- Identifying and addressing technical debt to maintain the product's long-term technical health.
- Working with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, and other relevant departments, to ensure successful projects implementation.
- Collaborating with architects to define the technical solution and ensure it meets the product's requirements.
- Manage RBCEL APIs inventory
- Work with tech leads to ensure APIs technical documentation is created for new APIs or updated as per RBCEL governance team standard
What you bring :
