Job Title : A / P and Billing Clerk

Location : Markham, ON

Type : 12 month contract (to cover Maternity leave)

Hours : Regular business hours : Monday to Friday

Compensation : Competitive Hourly Rate based on experience

Other : A reliable, insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license is a requirement for this role.

Overview :

As a member of the Finance team, this role is responsible for Accounts Payable and Billing.   This role will work with the Sales and Operations on a variety of tasks and will get exposure to payroll, invoicing and other accounting activities.   Confidentiality & the ability to work with others and deal with them in a positive way with customers is mandatory for this position.

Key Functions :

• Accounts Payable processing and matching, coding of invoices and cheques.
• Accounts Receivable including processing customer invoices.
• Importing invoicing into QuickBase
• Filing and preparing HST & QST returns.
• Bank Deposits, reconciliations and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Opening and sorting mail
• Filing as required
• Travel Reservations
• Other projects
